Many people wonder how to get their money back from Aliexpress, after payment is done. Quite often people order the wrong product, or choose the wrong quantity of it, or there could be other reasons to refund cash.

• You canceled the order after the goods payment;
• You have not received the product;

• If you have just made a payment, while your order has the status “Payment is verified”,  canceling the order, the system immediately begins processing the refund.
• If your order has the status of "Pending shipment" - then you have to wait for the cancellation of the order by the seller you paid for the goods, frequently sellers agree to cancel. Once the seller confirms the cancellation, you will return the funds as soon as possible.

If your order has the status "Sent" - in this case, the quick money return is impossible. First you need to receive the goods and send it back to China if the seller agrees, then you will need to pay yourself. If the goods did not arrive in proper quality, or damaged, or not the same as you ordered, then you can open a dispute.

How to get money after opening a dispute on Aliexpress?

If you had to open a dispute, then in any case you need to provide maximum correct information, even if the seller asks you not open a dispute, whilst minimum time has passed (for example, more than 15 days have passed, and the parcel is not tracked), then you need to open a dispute. If the seller claims he wants to return the money to you via PayPal, or another payment system, do not agree, because most likely he will deceive you, and you will not prove anything. The goods have not arrived, get the money back

The main thing is to keep track of the time until it is eligible to open a dispute, if this time expires, which is 45 days from the moment of sending the goods, you will not return the money in any case. The goods have arrived, but there is a problem with it

If you received the goods, but found some defects or malfunctions, or the goods did not arrive in the quantity you ordered, or it did not come at all what you ordered, in this case you need to return the money by opening a dispute in Aliexpress.

You can return all the value, or not all the amount, depends on the situation you have. If, for example, a product functions with a defect or a spoilage, but you are satisfied with it in this form, you can open a dispute, and request a partial refund and indicate how much you want to get back money for this defect.

If you attach the maximum amount of evidence, add photos and videos of your received package, with a proper depiction of what is not working, or that the product is damaged. At the same time you write the truth, and do not try to deceive Ali for your own purposes, then you will get your spent money back in 95% of cases.

How to refund money from Aliexpress if the dispute is already closed?

If you have an unfortunate situation after having opened a dispute, but have not received a positive response then most likely you will not be able to return your money since Aliexpress sided with the seller in your issue. You can try to write to the Aliexpress Support Service providing additional information, or describe at length the essence of your problem, and specify that you opened a dispute, write its number in the support message. In such cases, there is little chance of repayment.

Terms of money return at Aliexpress

Aliexpress provided a table in which each payment method is shown by the number of days it takes to return the money to the customer. A buyer should be aware, if the goods are paid in the same way then the money will return there. For example: You paid with a credit card so the money would returned you to the same card. If you paid Yandex money then you will receive a return transfer to your wallet.

What should I do if Aliexpress did not return the money?
