Aliexpress parcel delivered, but not received 

Once you check out the status of your Aliexpress order you may see the “delivered” status, even though you didn’t pick up your package yet or didn’t even get the notification from carrier service. You’ll get the same result even if you use the track number to find your package's current destination by yourself. What does it mean and what do you have to do in this situation?

Possible reasons

• Order’s protection expired, so Aliexpress automatically confirmed your order as you already got it.
• Package was already delivered, but someone’s got it instead of you (for example, your neighbor or family member).
• Carrier marked your package as delivered. This is a postal office’s mistake, so your parcel might still be in the delivery process.
• You used the wrong track number. Sender could provide the fake number or use irrelevant track code — it’s a common mistake.

Your possible actions

First, you need to check your parcel again with any of the international tracking systems. You may use Parcelapp as one of the most popular choices. Such sites are usually the most reliable, since they work for any carrier service in every possible country. Aliexpress tracking application may just not work properly and show the wrong status, which may be changed soon. 

After you check up the code yourself and see that it’s really marked as delivered, you need to contact the seller and tell them about the situation. Most often, the appearing tracking number is wrong and irrelevant, so the seller is going to provide you with the right one. 

If the number has no changes or the seller won’t respond to your request — you should wait up to 15 days and see if the shipment status was changed. Be careful to not pass the protection term, so you’ll be able to open a dispute. You may get the notification to come pick up your package, but if the seller tells you that there is no problem with tracking numbers and the package was successfully delivered — contact your carrier service to ask them for details. 

There are also people who may steal your parcel, since the ordinary packages may be given out without the receiver's signature. In the case the shipment was registered, you may ask the carrier who picked it up. 

Order confirmed but not received

You may not receive anything but the protection time has already expired, so the Aliexpress system marked your order as delivered automatically. 

If this happens, you should open a dispute without contacting the seller and wait for a solution. 

Opening a dispute

Sellers may never respond to your messages and explanations, or give you inconvincible solutions, so the last resort is just opening a dispute. 

You should do the same if the tracking number says that your order was picked up in a different city or state, even though you entered another address while ordering. Then you should take a screenshot and use it in the dispute as a proof that you never received your package. This action is almost always being accepted by Aliexpress, so you’ll eventually get your money back. 

Most often the reason for these kinds of situations is the human factor. Your carrier service may just be mistaken with the parcel code, so contacting the seller for getting a right one might be the right action. You should keep your calm while fixing the situation, even though there is still a possibility to get your money back even if the package was lost or stolen by someone else.
